I live and love living in Sausalito for the past 25 years. It is a magical place to live, with daily morning walks along the main street, Bridgeway, providing magnificent views of San Francisco. It is one of the most popular places to buy a first or second home for renters, downsizers, starter families, investors, and overseas buyers, due to its magnificent views, fast and easy commute to San Francisco, by car, bus, bike, or most fun of all, the ferry! It has a small town feel, with over 15 international and delicious restaurants, 2 yacht clubs, 3 yacht marinas, 4 jazz club venues, 3 sailing schools, an award-winning school. I naturally am an expert in Sausalito if you are thinking of buying or selling your home in Sausalito. Since Marin is such a small area and community, I specialize in Southern Marin, including Tiburon, Belvedere, Mill Valley, Corte Madera. My children went to school in Tiburon, which also has award winning schools, and my son currently lives in Tiburon, so I am very familiar with Tiburon, as I am there almost daily! I am a native of San Francisco! I lived there for 15 years! That is a very special and unique quality to find a native, as most people have moved here to enjoy it! The city is also magical, and I am so proud to say I am from there! I know the city very well, and all the different neighborhoods, climates, activities, restaurants galore, and a huge variety of cultural, musical, theatrical, sports venues. You truly can have it all here! If you want to buy a home in the San Francisco area or sell, call me! My enjoyment of living in gorgeous environments, brought me down to the Carmel/ Monterey area, where I lived for 4 years, attending Santa Catalina School, with the world-famous Monterey Jazz Festival performing right next door! Once again, I loved the natural beauty of the beaches, the charm of the variety of boutiques and fabulous restaurants in Carmel and Monterey. The magnificent coastal drive from San Francisco, down to Carmel and Big Sur are is unsurpassed in Beauty! Nature does not get any better! As I ventured on, I attended 2 years at USC in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of California Berkeley. Berkeley is another exciting and dynamic city, with such a fabulous diverse offering of restaurants, shops, art and music, a truly exciting environment to savor and enjoy! UC Berkeley cannot be a more stimulating college experience, with its international flavor and world-class professors, classes, and people! I lived in a beautiful classic home on Piedmont Avenue and joined the Pi Beta Phi house, where I have life long friends! I also had a special experience at UC Berkeley, that unbeknownst to me at the time, seems to have changed my life! I learned how to sail! at the UCB sailing club! Since then, I have owned 3 boats, including a laser, so fun! and fast, and 2 26 foot Pearson sailboats. I have had the pleasure of sailing in the Caribbean, Mexico, Greece, and the South Pacific! I also decided to teach women how to sail, and found how empowering it made them feel, as I had them dock on the first day of sailing! That was fun to see! Another special touch about sailing was I started taking out children, (and their families ), who have cancer, just to give them a fun day, without any treatments, or big decisions to make. Just a day to enjoy! My heritage is Italian, and I love traveling, especially to Europe! I took a trip to Italy to trace my family to Dogliani, near Asti, Italy, the Piedmont region. I had a wonderful time, picking up my family's birth, death, and marriage documents, in anticipation of getting my Italian citizenship! My family's business was in the wine business, and planted vineyards in Asti, California, near Healdsburg. I was a hotel sales manager in San Francisco for the Whitcomb Hotel for 4 years, then decided to get into real estate. I have always enjoyed real estate, both looking at the variety of architecture, and helping people work through figuring out what they really want to buy, and where, and when, as well as, understanding the process of truly being prepared to act, (faster than they think, when they see what they want)! I also specialize in helping sellers, and especially seniors, understand the process, to successfully prepare their home to put it on the market, to maximize their profit, of their investment. I also enjoy the variety of working with investors, to purchase or sell their income property, units of a commercial building. Since I was in the hotel business, I have clients who are looking to purchase hotels, in the Bay Area, so if you know anyone interested in selling a hotel, please call me! I also work with developers, who want to buy and sell land, entitled, or not. Unique properties fascinate me! I sold the Iconic Mill Valley Lumberyard, and have watched the new owners create a magical local go to the locale with boutiques, bakery, cafe, restaurant, florist, and business offices! I would love to help you, or your friends or family, to find their new home or sell their current home. Call me with any questions, you may have.
